Burnout – an epidemic in the workplace?
Workplace burnout and workplace boredom are epidemics in the American workforce. Do you agree? Well, I need your help in two areas!
I’d like to work this image into a keynote talk I’m giving on the topic of burnout & boredom.
First, I could use your help with some possible captions for the image. Here are some options I have so far:
1. One of the seven habits of highly effective people.
2. Work: It’s not just for sleep anymore.
3. The 15-minute power nap they raved about at the last time management training.
4. Meditating on the new company mission statement and imagining a new paradigm.
5. I’m doing the “Stress Level Elimination Exercise Plan” (SLEEP) I learned at the last mandatory seminar you made me attend.
6. I was working smarter-not harder.
7. Auggh! Why did you interrupt me? I had almost figured out a solution to our biggest problem.
8. I’m in the Management Training program.
9. “… and I especially want to thank you for my excellent boss. Amen.”
What are your fixes to burnout and boredom?
Second, I’d love to hear your suggested fixes to burnout and boredom in the workplace.
