Like many dreamers and high achievers, I love a good underdog story.
There are few that better combine my love of hockey, inspirational storytelling, national esprit de corps, and the intrigue of international super powers than the 1980 Olympic battle between the United States and the Soviet Union. It’s called the “Miracle On Ice”.
In just two minutes Coach Brooks, as played by Kurt Russell, inspires our young players to dig deep and embrace the greatness that lies inside.
